River Raisin Institute hosted a Green Building Commercial Training program at IHM Motherhouse in Monroe, Mich., on October 5, 2010 at 8 - 5 PM. This program thoroughly prepared trainees for the Green Advantage exam which was held held at the M-TEC at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Mich., on October 12, 2010 at 9 AM.
A limited number of scholarships were granted by the Monroe County Environmental Fund for Monroe County residents or people working in Monroe County. Mauser Harmony with Nature Foundation also provided scholarship funds. We are grateful for their support of this green building training.
The training program
- prepares trainees for the Green Advantage Certification Exam
- serves as a pre-requisite for LEED Green Associate
- qualifies as continuing education credit for AIA / CES Provider Program
- is approved by US Green Building Council for 8 GBCI CE Hours LEED Accredited Professional
